Sustainable Chef Knife.

 

The Sustainable Chef Knife was made using recycled materials without ever compromising on quality or beauty. 100 of these knives were made. They sold out within 116 minutes.

Made from 78% recycled steel in the Worlds most ecologically sound steel mill (Sandvik, Sweden), the steel is then cut, shaped and ground by hand in my workshop which is powered by green energy.

Each handle is made from 26 recycled water bottles.

Not just a looker.

After being heat treated in batches and finished (again by my own hands), the blade will then be paired with a totally unique handle formed from recycled water bottles - saving them from landfill, or worse still, the ocean. Each knife saves 26 water bottles from ever going to waste.

Once the blade and handle have been married together, the blade is sharpened on revolving water cooled Japanese whetstones for a devastatingly sharp edge.

Not only is this knife designed and built to be used on a daily basis, it is guaranteed for life.
