Recycled Range.

It started out as an experiment. Could we re-use kitchen waste to create beautiful and unique knife handles?

Whether using yoghurt pots, meat packing trays or water bottles, by applying heat and pressure, we could recycle these materials into something uniquely beautiful.

The food industry produces an unbelievable amount of waste.

These unique handles are proof that even waste can be beautiful. As well as creating conversation around recycling and sustainability, these knives are impervious to steam and moisture. Perfect for a busy restaurant kitchen.

Fresh looks.

To achieve a strong, yet beautiful handle, the waste material is heated in a press and compressed back into a usable shape. No extra resins or bonding agents are required. Heat and squish, it really is that simple.

The blade steel is also highly sustainable. Made with 78% recycled steel in the worlds most ecologically sound steel mill, the steel is then cut, shaped and ground by hand in my workshop which is powered by green energy.

Reusing plastics in this way could be the future.
